A photo tour of the Google campus in Mountain View, California
Filed under: Google
Next up, after my tour of the Mozilla offices, is Google! Much like Mozilla (and the rest of Silicon Valley), the Google offices are modern. Almost everywhere you look is open space with just a few dividers providing a modicum of privacy between each of the engineers. There are temporary, blow-up yurts if you require a meeting space, but that's it. Between the buildings there are beautiful gardens, benches to sit on and even stone and marble sculptures.I didn't make it all the way around the campus (it's really, really big), but I managed to photograph almost all of the cool things -- in the areas I was allowed to visit, anyway! Most notably, I missed the dinosaur -- but hopefully you'll forgive me, once you look through the gallery below.
Click 'Hi res' once you've a thumbnail below, or simply follow this link. Commentary accompanies each of the photos.
